I have been working on some special orders for big hole beads. To just get the right size inner bead hole. Several mandrels, several attempts to find what I think looks great on all the different brands of bracelets. Wow, it was a lot of fun and has opened up a lot of different selections for all fashion jewelry out there. You can mix the glass with the wonderful silver charm beads to end up with a really fun bracelet. What is really great about beads for bracelets is that you change your outfit, change the glass selection to match. How fun is that! Here is a Garden bead with pink encased barrel spacers, shown on a Pandora Bracelet.

Today was all about Moon Beads. I just love them. Can't wait to teach this class in June at the Eugene Glass School. It will be fun. Lots of tips on silver leaf, gold stone and fine silver wire.

Happy Easter

This is a zero calorie Easter Treat! A sweet little Bunny girl with a flower in her hare? And she just had to have a carrot. I truly love making Holiday beads. Next will be some Red Hats and Flowers for my Mother's Day selection.

Sunset Beach. I love making these little Beach treasures. Here is one from this morning. It has sea urchins, a star fish, the palm tree and the sun set. All on a bead with the rolling waves. This one is listed this week in my E-bay shop.

Playing with Roses

I love how the red turned out in these roses. I will have to play with this color combo a lot!!

I've been working with Gaffer Glass for a class that I will be teaching at the University of Oregon later this month. I love how the silver leaf leaves a layer in the waves of this bead. You can see many of the test beads for sale on E-bay seller "Sailthee" or on ETSY under Simply Lampwork

So walking by yard between the rain down pours... and it has been down pours. Sorry to say there are floods in our area. Well back to my yard. There are so many flower bulbs peeking up from the ground. I had to go back inside and play with the flower bulb idea. This Daffodil and Lady Bug will be listed on my web site. New Moon Beads

I have been playing with lots of Moon's in lots of colors. I will be teaching a 3 week class at the University of Oregon starting Feb 22. The class will focus on Moon Scape Beads. We will also play with a bit of silver leaf and fine silver wire. Glass is so much fun to mess with.
